The shipyard museum is open Mon - Fri 11 am - 4 pm, other times according to agreements.

The Shipyard

Welcome to the Shipyard in Jakobstad, where the galeas Jacobstads Wapen is being repaired and the war indemnity schooner Vega is being reconstructed. The area serves as both a functional shipyard and a museum, where we cherish and showcase the local maritime and cultural history, traditional wooden shipbuilding, and Finland's war indemnity history.
